Atlas Translating Services is a language translation and
simultaneous interpretation company that was established in 1981, in
Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
Its owner, Anne-Marie Veress (right) is a native
Spanish speaker born in Chile, South America to Hungarian parents,
educated in a German school and has lived in Montreal, Canada where
she learned English and French.
Her work experience spans three continents and her extensive
travels as an interpreter have exposed her to numerous site visits
to manufacturing and processing plants, oil well sites, agricultural
fields, factory tours etc.
Not only does she understand the meaning of the words but can
transfer that knowledge to the actual mechanism and function of most
machinery and manufacturing processes.
 With a marketing background and as a business
owner she is very familiar with business and technical terminology
and can identify with the needs of business owners beyond the mere
use of proper words. Her passion for the written word only surpasses
her entrepreneurial spirit.
